Built on humble beginnings in regional Victoria in 1991 by brothers Shane and David Young, the family values that defined our business back then, remain as a key fabric of how we operate today. Empowered by the feeling of togetherness this gives us, our leading portfolio of brands, adapt and grow in an ever-changing pet industry across Australia, New Zealand and beyond.

Our Story

From a small family business in Ballarat in 2002, Petstock has grown into a vibrant community for pets and their people. Today, we’re more than stores—we’re a network of care, offering retail, online shopping, vet clinics, grooming, and our own trusted brands across Australia and New Zealand. Through the Petstock Foundation, we give back to the communities that inspire us, guided by our vision: “Together, we make an impact for pets, their people, and the planet.” In FY24, we partnered with Woolworths Group, combining their digital and supply chain expertise with our passion and agility. This collaboration opens new doors to innovate, grow, and create even more value for the pet families we serve.
